Bus Rider Reminders
As a reminder, students who ride the buses to and from school, are expected to regularly ride their assigned buses. If the student does not need bus transportation for a day, please call the Transportation Office at (815) 899-8158.
Please also take this time to remind your students of a few important bus rules:
Students should arrive 5 minutes prior to the bus stop time
Students must be picked up and dropped off at the same location, Monday through Friday.
The District does not allow guests to ride with bus students to or from school.
A full list of Transportation Procedures and Expectations can be found on the District’s website. Students found to be violating these expectations are subject to the following disciplinary procedures.
We had a great turn out for the dance on Friday night. We do have a couple of notes:
Once students arrive at the dance, they must stay until 9:00 PM.
The dress code for school is the same dress code for the dance.
Phones are not to be used during the dance! No taking pictures; no watching videos; no texting. Students and parents should have planned ahead of time what time and where the students would be picked up.
Please see page 40 of the Student-Parent Handbook for the full set of guidelines.
Pictures are being sent home this week. If your student needs to do a retake, they will be on October 4. Please have your student bring the pictures with them. If students were not here on the first day of school, they will need to come and get their pictures taken that day as well.
