My Middle School

Learn about Sycamore Middle School, meet new friends, and prepare for the school year ahead! My Middle School is a four-day summer program hosted by the staff at SMS to give incoming sixth graders a head start to their middle school careers. 

Participating in this sixth grade transition program will prepare students for a successful start at SMS. During their four days in this program, students will:

• Learn what SMS has to offer.
• Meet a few new classmates before the school year begins.
• Navigate their way around SMS.
• Practice opening a combination lock.
• Hear guest speakers who will give an inside look into SMS, its clubs, sports, and activities.

Register for My Middle School

1. Click on the Register Now link. Login or create account. Click on Begin Registration.
2. Click on Summer Camps. Click on Proceed with Registration. Chose participant.
3. Go to the Session you are choosing and click on Show Details.
4. Click the box next to Sign up.
5. Please sign up for only 1 session.
6. Finish registration process and submit payment - $80.
7. Please note that although your child's t-shirt size is requested, My Middle School participants do not receive shirts.
8. Complete the online registration form by Monday, July 22  for Session 1 and Monday, July 29 for Session 2.
9. An email will be sent closer to your child's session date.
