My Middle School
Learn about Sycamore Middle School, meet new friends, and prepare for the school year ahead! My Middle School is a four-day summer program hosted by the staff at SMS to give incoming sixth graders a head start to their middle school careers.
Participating in this sixth grade transition program will prepare students for a successful start at SMS. During their four days in this program, students will:
- Learn what SMS has to offer.
- Meet a few new classmates before the school year begins.
- Navigate their way around SMS.
- Practice opening a combination lock.
- Hear guest speakers give an inside look into SMS, its clubs, sports, and activities.
Summer 2023 Session Dates
Session One
Monday, July 24 through Thursday, July 27, 2023 from 9 AM to noon.
Session Two
Monday, July 31 through Thursday, August 3, 2023 from 9 AM to noon.
Register for My Middle School
- Complete the online registration form by Monday, July 20 for Session 1 and Monday, July 27 for Session 2.
- Submit payment via the Web Store (each session costs $80 to attend).
- A confirmation email will be sent closer to your student's session date.
